Steve Cooper teaches and trains believers world-wide in Scripture through theological training. He has a passion for the right proclamation of God’s Word and for international ministry. Steve serves through First Love by teaching theology through First Love schools. He brings his experience and knowledge to Chaplaincy programs and pastors to equip and encourage them.
He and his wife, Renee, reside in Rockford, Illinois, USA. They have been married 36 years. They have five children, three sons-in-law, one daughter-in-law, and four grandchildren.
He has a B.A in Human Relations from Judson University and an MDiv. from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.
Steve served in the Active Army and Army National Guard, retiring after 27 years with the rank of colonel. He served one combat tour, deploying to Iraq as a Battalion Chaplain 2004 to 2005. He currently serves in his local church on the Global Outreach Team.
Steve’s hobbies include hunting, music, and spending time with his grandchildren.
