Don and Kristen MacKay first moved to the Philippines in 1995. Don serves First Love International as the Philippine Field Director. He leads the First Love Philippines team by helping to give oversight to the 20 team members that serve throughout the Philippine Islands. He works regularly giving leadership to our home for 56 abused and trafficked girls, the Butterfly Project. He also is the Alumni Coordinator for Faith Academy.
Kristen has served in Teaching and Administration at Faith Academy, an international school for 525 missionary kids and national students. She is currently leading the Middle School division as Principal. She loves encouraging teachers towards teaching well and cherishes the opportunities to work with her students in small groups.
During much of their time and ministry in the Philippines, Don has overseen relief and compassion outreaches to the impoverished, and informal settlers. He and his wife, Kristen, have raised 3 sons, of which all are now married, and one returned with his wife and family to teach at Faith Academy.
