Adeline Opperman is the Director of First Love Market. Adeline previously worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist prior to the Lord leading her to this new initiative with First Love. She has a heart for working with Gospel-centered ministries to provide economic empowerment to the most vulnerable through creating a marketplace of global goods based on fair trade practices. It was back in 2016 that Adeline and her husband (Jamie) were serving as leaders over the orphan care ministry at their local church. While serving in this area of ministry, they had an idea to create a Christmas shopping event with a focus on keeping families together and keeping children out of orphanages. This annual shopping event was the beginning of what would grow to be First Love Market. Adeline and Jamie live in Illinois with their two children, Landon and Lana. As a family, they enjoy traveling and trying out new restaurants.
