I serve at the Banaba House Ministry Center among the urban (materially) poor. At the same time, I work with churches in both the local areas and the US who have a desire to journey with us among the materially poor, serving together to be a tangible expression of Jesus to our neighbors. Our focus is on the whole family, every neighbor, helping to move them toward Jesus and the church.
Through our church, we have the joy of a thriving kid’s ministry, sports outreach to our younger neighborhood boys, youth Bible fellowship, and our family fellowship meals. Much that we do happens around food and fellowship, inviting anyone who wants to join us at the dinner table.
We can accommodate up to 20 in our ministry center and our door is open to individuals and ministry teams to come and experience the beauty of the slum.
John 1:14, “The Word became flesh and blood and moved into the neighborhood.”
