Bob and Bobbie serve with First Love International Ministries. They moved to Asia in 1999. In 2008 they returned to the states and are now residing in Southern Pines, NC. Bob spends nearly 50% of his time in Asia as they continue to manage and initiate a multitude of ministries focused on meeting the needs of “the least of these.” In addition to meeting physical needs, they freely share the gospel and have seen many come to know Jesus as their personal savior.
Due to Bobbie’s health concerns, it is very difficult for her to travel. She spends much of her time designing various greeting cards which are given out to encourage others and are also sold to provide added income for their projects. She also communicates and encourages women in the Himalayas where First Love serves.
Their ministry has included the establishment of six children’s homes and three hostels for young adults, five churches, and a home for widows. They have also been involved in disaster relief, ministry to senior citizens, evangelism, and discipleship. Bob regularly hosts short term mission teams from various churches. With the goal of providing ongoing local support for their projects, they have established various income generating projects including a quilt store and a fish farm.
