Hyderabad Project

India, with a population of 1.45 billion, has overtaken China as the country with the highest number of orphans—31 million. The country’s extreme poverty contributes to millions of additional children being classified as ‘most vulnerable and at risk.’ The religious landscape in India includes Hinduism (80%) and Islam (14%). Christianity makes up a small minority (2-3%).

Hyderabad, the capital of Telangana, is home to 11 million people and ranks as the sixth most populous city in India. While known for its pearl and diamond industry, Hyderabad is also a significant hub for human trafficking. Children are exploited and sold into slavery under false promises of a better life.

Your support gives orphans and at-risk children the care they need to thrive in all areas of development. These children are highly vulnerable and come from extreme poverty, where care and protection are insufficient for their survival and development. Through the compassionate, caring staff, daily meals, and a safe, loving children’s home where the gospel is heard and demonstrated, you help ensure they have a healthy childhood. You help them experience hope for a brighter future.
